Greatness takes time....

How long does it take to produce a TV commercial or video from beginning to end?  The short answer:  it varies greatly.  We're not trying to be evasive and non-committal.  But it all depends on what is involved.  We have completed simple projects in as little as 2 or 3 days.  For more complex projects, you might need to allow a few weeks or even months.  There are certain projects that can take even longer if we need to coordinate the video shoots with things like a timely event, summertime weather or other considerations.  To ensure a quality end-result, you need to allow sufficient time for each phase of the production:  pre-production planning, the video shoot phase (production), and editing/post production.  Be sure to visit our Services page to learn more about the tasks involved in these three phases of production.

Here are some typical

project timelines:

TV COMMERCIAL

Pre-production:

  up to 2 weeks.

Production:

  up to 1 week

Editing/Post Production:

  up to 1 week

TOTAL:  1 to 3 weeks

FULL LENGTH VIDEO

Pre-production:

  1 to 3 weeks

Production:

  1 to 4 weeks

Editing/Post Production:

  1 to 4 weeks

TOTAL:  2 to 5 weeks

Those timelines are a guideline you can use for determining when you can begin to air your TV commercial or distribute your video.  Again, the main thing to remember:  no two projects are the same.  We can perform faster turnaround than the above timelines.  Things can also take longer depending upon the circumstances and what is required to achieve your goals.  Once we know a bit more about what it will take to produce your project, we can provide an accurate estimate for time-to-completion.
